Hi friend! I’m Jade, also known as luckyllama — a developer who runs on code, caffeine, and creativity ☕💛

I studied Computer Engineering Technology and now work as an IT Analyst. I love the process of starting from nothing and building something meaningful — combining lines of code into creations that make life a little easier (with, of course, a touch of creativity).

When I’m off the clock, you’ll usually find me curled up on the couch binging my favorite shows and movies, grinding through games, or nerding out over something new. I love learning fresh concepts and bringing them to life — and I’m excited to share those creations with others!

Lately, I’ve been exploring digital art. I’ve never been much of a traditional artist (unless stick figures count!), but diving into Procreate has been such a joy — discovering new ways to express ideas through digital design.

  • I’ve always loved Notion and use tons of templates daily. With the end of the year approaching, I’ve been updating, optimizing, and tidying them up for a productive new year! ✨
  • I adore all things crafts — knitting while cozied up with tea and a good show is my kind of evening. I’ve also started dabbling in sublimation, and it’s been so fun seeing my digital designs come to life! 🧶
  • And of course, continuing to build my portfolio! 💻

  • This was my first piece in Procreate! I’ve always loved all things astronauts and space, so it felt like the perfect theme to start with. Being a bit of a perfectionist, I probably didn’t realize what I was getting into when diving into the world of digital art — but I definitely learned the importance of patience, and in the end, the process is always worth it. 🚀✨

  • My second piece in Procreate! After taking a year-long break from my first drawing, I wanted to ease back into it with something light and fun — and honestly, who doesn’t love a cute mushroom? 🍄

  • Of course, this is just a simple quote — but it’s one I really love. It’s a gentle reminder to slow down, appreciate what you have, and remember how lucky you are. Be thankful for the little things. ♡

  • My third piece in Procreate! After dipping my toes back into digital art, I wanted to step it up a bit — and this piece felt like the perfect way to do it. I’ve always been a window-seat kind of gal; there’s something so peaceful about watching the horizon and taking in the scenery. And of course, I can never resist a good sunset! 🌅 I love how this piece captures that same calming feeling.

  • I’ve always had a love for all things cute and fluffy (“It’s so fluffy I’m gonna die!”) — especially llamas. I’ve never been great at coming up with creative names, and when I had to make an account ages ago, luckyLlama just popped into my head… and it’s stuck ever since! One day, while working on an app, I wanted a logo that matched the name — something simple but fitting. So, I quickly sketched this little guy up, and just like the name, he’s stuck around ever since. haha 🦙♡
